Who we are
Marcello neckwear was started in 2010, it seemed that ties were in a rut and we had something to add. We then started making self-tie bow ties too. At the time it was only the very brave who gave themselves the permission to wear a bow tie. We have found ourselves experimenting further in the men’s fashion accessory field introducing matching pocket squares for the neckties and bow ties and also the occasional set of matching cuff links. We have most recently introduced a range of men’s dress socks, they are designed to compliment clothes that men already have in their wardrobe, with the added interest of geometric patterns and hidden splashes of colour, they aim to be stylish without being over the top.
We value quality craftsmanship at marcello neckwear. We supply neckwear to men who value more choices beyond a standard stripy number. The material we select is always 100% cotton or other natural fibres. We provide a selection of ties that are suitable for stylish everyday. We also offer ties that are suitable for formal and special occasions such as weddings.
Marcello has also moved into women’s neckwear in the last few years with specially designed ladies bow ties and pussy bows. The ladies range feature both striking fabrics that can hold their own around the office as well as soft florals suited to a picnic or a night on the town.
Since 2010 we have kept making all of our products within Australia. We are passionately Australian designed and made. We have deliberately chosen to maintain manufacturing in Australia and our customers value this commitment. We have developed a strong relationship with a selection of family run manufacturers who have a transparent manufacturing process. All of our neckties and bow ties are made in fresh new fabrics in seasonal ranges and in short runs.
We are inspired by well-dressed vintage chaps such as Marcello Mastroianni (hence the name). Marcello neckwear ties, like all well dressed men, are a reinterpretation of a classic look. We will have you dapper in no time.
